Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where care is provided
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent, full-time equivalent nursing experience within the last 3 years
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Labor & Delivery experience strongly preferred; high-risk OB experience is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care to laboring patients and newborns
• Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout the labor and delivery process
• Assist with assessments, interventions, and coordination of care during high-acuity situations
• Support patients and families with education, reassurance, and clinical guidance
• Collaborate closely with physicians, neonatal staff, and the broader healthcare team
• Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and escalating clinical needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow established clinical standards and protocols
