• Board Status: Board certified preferred; board eligible accepted

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in critical care, pediatric critical care, or another high-acuity pediatric setting
• Physician (MD) credentials required
• Experience with pediatric critical care medicine and advanced airway management
• Ability to perform and interpret critical care procedures, diagnostics, and patient assessments
• Comfort working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary healthcare environment
• Fellowship training preferred
• Current BLS and PALS certifications

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for pediatric patients in a critical care setting
• Manage ventilation support, including invasive and non-invasive methods
• Perform and assist with procedures such as intubation, central line placement, arterial lines, chest tube insertion, and diagnostic or therapeutic taps
• Evaluate and manage acute volume status and blood pressure issues
• Interpret x-rays, EKGs, and other relevant clinical studies
• Support advanced critical care interventions, including ECMO-related familiarity and iNO use
• Collaborate with the care team to deliver safe, timely, high-quality patient care
