Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of recent cardiac stepdown, telemetry, progressive care, or similar acute care experience
• Strong cardiac assessment skills and comfort monitoring complex patients
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented acute care environment
• Excellent communication, organization, and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to cardiac stepdown and progressive care patients
• Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and patient condition closely throughout the shift
• Administer medications and treatments according to care plans and clinical standards
• Collaborate with the care team to support safe transitions, treatments, and discharge planning
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner
• Respond to changes in patient status with sound clinical judgment and urgency
