• Start Date: 10/12/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM - 7:15 AM
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 - $1,890
• Schedule Notes: No call required; may float to other Med/Surg Tele units or a low-acuity ICU as needed

Job Requirements

• Active Tennessee RN license or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Epic experience within the last 18 months required
• Strong telemetry interpretation skills and experience caring for adult and geriatric patients
• Ability to work effectively in a busy, team-oriented acute care environment

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate bedside care for Med/Surg and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and recognize changes in patient condition promptly
• Administer medications, therapies, and treatments according to the plan of care
• Support patients with complex needs, including wound care, IV management, and oxygen therapy
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and support staff to coordinate care
• Document accurately in Epic and maintain high standards of patient safety
• Respond quickly to changes in condition and assist with escalation of care when needed
