Physical Therapist Job – Pediatric Hospital-Based Outpatient Setting in Apple Valley, CA

Job Details

• Setting: Hospital-based outpatient pediatric physical therapy
• Location: Apple Valley, CA 92307
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5x8 schedule
• Shift Hours: Any 8 hours between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM
• Shift Duration: 8 hours
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks with option to extend up to 26 weeks
• Start Date: October 20, 2026
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,350 - $2,520
• Hours per Week: 40
• On-Call: Not required
• Charting System: Epic
• Parking: Free parking available

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of physical therapy experience required
• Pediatric physical therapy experience required
• Current California Physical Therapist license required
• BLS certification required
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Experience with Epic preferred
• Open to first-time travelers

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat pediatric patients in an outpatient hospital-based setting
• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans to support patient goals
• Deliver high-quality physical therapy interventions focused on mobility, strength, function, and recovery
• Document patient progress accurately and efficiently in Epic
• Work independently while maintaining strong communication with the care team
• Adapt treatment approaches to meet the needs of a diverse pediatric patient population
• Maintain a patient-centered approach that promotes positive outcomes and family engagement
