• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5x8 day shifts
• Shift Duration: 8-hour days, typically 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Weekend Rotation: Yes, approximately 1 weekend every 4 weekends
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,790 - $1,920
• Charting System: Cerner EMR
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Dietitian experience required
• RD/RDN credential required
• Active Illinois dietitian license required by start date; pending license may be considered if active in time to start
• Experience with adult outpatient or clinic nutrition care preferred
• Experience with enteral nutrition (tube feedings) required
• Experience with total parenteral nutrition (TPN) required
• Experience with nutrition assessments and reassessments required
• Experience managing protein-calorie malnutrition required
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Comfort working in Cerner preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nutrition assessments and reassessments for hospitalized patients
• Develop individualized nutrition care plans based on patient needs and clinical findings
• Manage enteral nutrition and TPN recommendations in collaboration with the care team
• Support treatment of protein-calorie malnutrition and other complex nutrition-related conditions
• Apply evidence-based medical nutrition therapy to improve patient outcomes
• Document accurately and efficiently in Cerner EMR
• Work collaboratively with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Participate in a limited weekend rotation as scheduled
