Job Details

• Setting: ICU / Float Pool
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing
• Schedule: Full-time, 3x12 day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
• Shift Duration: 12 hours
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Contract Length: 18 weeks
• Start Date: 10/19/2026
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,020 - $2,130
• Schedule Notes: Holidays and every other weekend required; 2 on-call shifts per 4-week period
• Location: Geneva, NY 14456 – Finger Lakes healthcare community with easy access to natural beauty and outdoor recreation

Job Requirements

• Active New York State RN license
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Med/Surg, Telemetry, or Critical Care nursing
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through AHA or RQI
• NIHSS certification required
• Ability to float between Med/Surg, ICU, and ED units
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
• Comfort working with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• Computer literacy and familiarity with electronic medical records preferred

• Provide high-quality nursing care in ICU and float pool assignments across multiple units
• Deliver safe, compassionate care to patients with varying acuity levels in a critical care environment
• Perform assessments, monitor patient status, and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary care teams to support patient care plans
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold patient confidentiality
• Support a respectful, healing environment focused on dignity, safety, and teamwork
• Adapt to the needs of diverse patient populations across the lifespan
• Contribute to efficient patient flow and help ensure smooth unit operations
