Job Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Experience in critical care and ventilator management required
• Neonatal and pediatric respiratory therapy experience required, including Level II NICU
• Current NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Completion of an approved Respiratory Therapy program
• Valid Colorado Respiratory Therapist license in good standing
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
• Flu vaccination required during flu season; no declinations accepted
• Experience as a travel respiratory therapist strongly preferred
• Permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care and diagnostic procedures for patients of all ages and acuity levels
• Deliver confident care in critical care settings using strong clinical judgment
• Support neonatal and pediatric patients, including Level II NICU cases
• Manage ventilators and respond to changing patient respiratory needs
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to provide safe, patient-centered treatment
• Work rotating night shifts, call, and weekend coverage as scheduled
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow established respiratory care protocols
