• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 - $2,060
• Patient Volume: Approximately 6-12 patients per day
• Department Size: Small team with three rooms and one portable ultrasound machine
• Schedule Notes: Variable coverage may be needed, including occasional weekend support

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience required
• Experience with general ultrasound procedures across a broad patient population
• Current California license or ability to meet California licensing requirements
• ARDMS certification in at least two general board exam areas preferred
• Required certifications may include ARDMS AB, ARDMS BR, ARDMS OB/GYN, RDMS in AB or OB, RVT, and BLS
• Experience with Epic charting systems preferred
• Strong clinical skills and comfort working in a fast-paced, patient-focused hospital environment

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of general ultrasound exams with accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail
• Support imaging needs for neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patients
• Work independently while contributing to a small, team-oriented sonography department
• Use portable and department-based imaging equipment as needed
• Maintain high standards of patient care, safety, and communication throughout each exam
• Document procedures accurately in the electronic health record and charting system
• Adapt to changing daily volumes and support occasional weekend coverage when required
