• Patient Population: Geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients age 13+

Job Requirements

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license or credential
• At least 2 years of experience preferred in inpatient rehabilitation, skilled nursing, acute care, or hospital therapy settings
• Strong background working with neuro, orthopedic, debility, cardiac, and complex rehab patient populations
• Experience with clinical assessment, treatment planning, and patient-centered rehabilitation care
• Excellent teamwork, communication, work ethic, and reliability
• Comfort working in a fast-paced rehabilitation environment
• Ability to collaborate effectively with therapy, nursing, and interdisciplinary clinical teams

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
• Develop individualized treatment plans that support functional recovery and improved independence
• Document patient progress accurately using the facility’s clinical systems and EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary rehab teams to coordinate patient-centered care
• Support therapy goals for patients recovering from neurologic, orthopedic, and complex medical conditions
• Use a patient-focused approach to help maximize outcomes and quality of life
