• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,060
• Schedule: 36 hours per week; 12-hour day shifts; variable coverage may include Monday and Tuesday day shifts and Wednesday night shift coverage
• Setting: Small hospital ultrasound department with 3 rooms and 1 portable unit
• Daily Volume: Approximately 6-12 patients per day
• Charting System: Epic
• Location: Napa, California – a relaxed Northern California community known for wine country living, scenic surroundings, and vibrant local dining
• Patient Population: Neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

Job Requirements

• 2+ years of ultrasound experience required
• Open to first-time travelers
• Valid California license or eligibility to work in the state; pending license may be accepted
• ARDMS certifications in Abdomen, Breast, and OB/GYN, or a combination of at least two general ARDMS board exams
• BLS certification required
• RVT and other applicable ultrasound credentials preferred
• Trauma Level I experience required
• Ability to work with a steady and varied general ultrasound caseload

Responsibilities

• Perform general ultrasound examinations with accuracy, efficiency, and attention to patient comfort
• Support patient care across all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics
• Manage a varied daily caseload in a small, fast-paced hospital ultrasound department
• Use portable and room-based imaging equipment to complete a wide range of diagnostic ultrasound studies
• Collaborate with the care team to help maintain smooth department workflow and high-quality patient care
• Deliver professional, patient-centered sonography services while maintaining imaging standards
• Provide occasional weekend coverage as needed to support department scheduling
