Job Details

• Position: Inpatient Physical Therapist
• Employment Type: Travel Physical Therapy Job
• Schedule: 5x8-hour day shifts, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,990 - $2,140
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Location: Laurinburg, NC 28352
• Setting: Inpatient rehab with a 1/2 inpatient and 1/2 outpatient caseload
• EMR: Epic preferred

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of physical therapy experience required
• Active North Carolina Physical Therapist license required
• BLS certification required
• Experience in acute care, rehab, orthopedics, neuro, or geriatrics preferred
• Epic experience strongly preferred
• Must be comfortable treating adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Willingness to train and adapt within a collaborative care environment

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic, neurologic, post-surgical, cardiac, and chronic condition needs
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence
• Provide both inpatient and outpatient therapy services as part of a balanced caseload
• Use evidence-based interventions for gait training, therapeutic exercise, transfer training, and patient education
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to support safe, effective discharge planning and recovery
• Monitor progress, reassess goals, and adjust treatment plans to help patients achieve meaningful outcomes
