• Schedule: 40 hours per week; 10-hour day shifts
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 11/2/2026
• Charting System: Epic
• Orientation: 80 hours
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,060 - $2,210
• Schedule Notes: Weekend rotation and call may be required based on staffing needs

Job Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of Certified Surgical Technologist experience
• At least 2 years of cardiac surgery and vascular surgery experience
• 1 year of CVOR experience required
• 1 year of experience in a Level I Trauma facility
• Scrub experience required
• Experience with cardiovascular and thoracic instrument reprocessing
• Endovascular experience required
• BLS certification required
• Strong aseptic technique and attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a high-acuity, team-oriented perioperative environment

Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist in cardiovascular and vascular procedures with confidence and precision
• Support complex CVOR cases such as CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, valve replacement, and other cardiac surgery procedures
• Maintain a sterile field and follow strict aseptic technique throughout each case
• Prepare, manage, and document surgical instruments and equipment accurately
• Assist with crash cart readiness, case cart setup, and room turnover
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and perioperative team members to ensure efficient workflow
• Follow universal protocol, fire safety, sharps safety, and isolation procedures
• Contribute to safe, organized, and patient-focused surgical care
