Job Details

• Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Job
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Schedule: Weekend and holiday coverage as assigned
• Estimated Shifts: Approximately 6 shifts per 6-week schedule
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
• Location: Denton, TX 76201

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience required
• TNCC required
• BLS required
• ALS required
• PALS or ENPC required
• CPI upon extension
• Experience with stroke, ACS, diabetic emergencies, and acute kidney disease preferred
• Comfort working in a high-volume, high-acuity Emergency Department

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity and clinical need
• Deliver care for a diverse patient population including stroke, ACS, diabetic emergencies, and AKD
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to support timely, effective treatment
• Maintain strong attention to detail in a fast-paced, 41-bed unit
• Support safe patient flow in an ER that sees a high daily volume
• Respond to changing patient conditions and provide appropriate interventions
• Maintain professionalism, teamwork, and high standards of patient-centered emergency care
