• Location: Columbus, Ohio
• Setting: Hospital / Surgical Services
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Mid 5x8-hour evenings (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM), Monday through Friday, with occasional scheduled holidays
• Orientation: 40 hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,080 - $1,160
• Start Date: 11/02/2026

Job Requirements

• 3 years of sterile processing experience required
• CRCST or CSPDT certification required
• Experience in a busy hospital, surgical services, or trauma environment strongly preferred
• Hands-on experience with decontamination, instrument assembly, sterilization, and sterile storage
• Experience with high-level disinfection (HLD) and endoscope scope reprocessing
• Familiarity with tracking systems such as Censitrac preferred
• Experience with Medivator, steam sterilization, and Sterrad preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with OR teams and clinical staff

Responsibilities

• Clean, decontaminate, assemble, sterilize, and store surgical instruments and medical equipment
• Process a wide range of instrumentation across multiple surgical service lines
• Support high-level disinfection and scope reprocessing workflows in accordance with facility standards
• Prepare, organize, and verify trays, sets, and loaner instruments for procedural use
• Maintain accurate tracking and documentation of instruments, equipment, and sterilization cycles
• Collaborate with Operating Room teams as a liaison to help ensure timely delivery of sterile supplies
• Follow strict infection prevention, quality assurance, and patient safety standards in all reprocessing tasks
• Assist with standardizing and allocating instrument trays across the enterprise
