Travel Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) - GI Lab Assignment in Petaluma, California

• Location: Petaluma, CA 94954
• Start Date: 10/19/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• Schedule: 40 hours per week, no weekends
• Call: 3 call shifts every 2 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,280-$2,400
• EMR: Epic
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
• Float Requirement: May float to pre-op, Phase II PACU, and nearby sister facilities with advance notice

Job Requirements

• Active California RN license required; compact license must be in hand at submission
• 3 years of endoscopy nursing or GI lab experience required
• First-time travelers considered with 3+ years of experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and CGRN certifications required
• Strong charting and documentation experience in Epic required
• Ability to provide 2 professional references covering 1 year of recent experience
• Willingness to work 3 of the 5 recognized holidays when assigned
• Ability to float as needed and maintain flexibility within the contracted schedule
• Experience with conscious sedation, airway management, and monitored recovery preferred

Responsibilities

• Support endoscopic procedures including colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, and other advanced GI interventions
• Monitor patients receiving conscious sedation, propofol, and monitored anesthesia care
• Circulate and scrub as needed during procedures
• Start and maintain IVs, obtain EKGs, and assist with pre- and post-procedure care
• Handle specimen collection, labeling, and documentation with accuracy
• Assist with airway management, dysrhythmia monitoring, and recovery of sedated patients
• Work collaboratively with the procedural team to deliver safe, efficient, patient-centered care
• Float to pre-op, Phase II PACU, or nearby facilities when needed
