• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 - $2,250

Job Requirements

• Active New Hampshire RN license required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• At least 1 year of recent nursing experience required
• Telemetry nursing experience preferred
• Basic dysrhythmia knowledge preferred or obtained by the end of orientation
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training preferred or obtained by the end of orientation
• Graduate of an approved nursing program preferred
• Ability to complete required unit competencies and orientation modules

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Carry out provider orders and deliver safe, timely, patient-centered care
• Maintain clear and thorough clinical documentation, including care plans each shift
• Communicate patient information effectively through bedside shift report, multidisciplinary rounds, and hourly rounding
• Participate in patient safety initiatives, quality improvement, and unit-based huddles
• Support a culture of teamwork, accountability, and positive patient experiences
• Educate patients and families using culturally competent materials
• Collaborate with fellow nurses, students, and interdisciplinary team members
• Serve as a preceptor or mentor when appropriate
• Complete required dysrhythmia education during orientation
