Job Requirements

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• At least 1 year of respiratory therapy experience preferred
• Experience supporting hospital patients with a variety of respiratory needs
• Ability to work independently on the night shift in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Assess patients with breathing concerns and evaluate respiratory status
• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy
• Set up, monitor, and manage mechanical ventilators for patients who require support
• Respond to urgent respiratory needs, including CPR and other emergency interventions
• Document patient care accurately and collaborate with physicians on treatment plans
• Educate patients and families on disease management and home equipment use
