• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Day shift, 8-hour shifts (08:00–16:30) with flexibility for varying office hours
• Hours per Week: 40
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,010–$1,090
• Start Date: 10/12/2026
• Setting: Outpatient physician practice float pool
• Location: Teaneck, NJ
• Weekend/Call: No weekends and no call
• Orientation: 8 hours
• Flexibility: May float among nearby practice locations as needed

Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of Medical Assistant experience in an outpatient clinic or physician practice setting
• Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Strong clinical support skills, including rooming patients and obtaining vital signs
• Experience recording patient history, medications, and allergies
• Ability to assist with chart preparation, scheduling, and telephone triage
• Professional, adaptable, and comfortable working in a float pool environment
• Bilingual Spanish or Korean is a plus

Responsibilities

• Room patients and prepare them for examinations in a fast-paced outpatient setting
• Obtain and document vital signs, histories, medications, and allergies accurately
• Assist with front desk patient calls and scheduling appointments
• Support pharmacy calls and patient refill requests
• Help with chart preparation, medical records support, and ordering supplies
• Provide telephone triage support as needed
• Deliver courteous, efficient, patient-centered support across multiple practice locations
