Job Requirements

Responsibilities

• Prepare, assemble, and deliver patient meals and snacks according to diet orders and allergy restrictions

• Update diet changes in the food service system and distribute related reports, menus, and meal tickets
• Prepare cold food items such as salads, sandwiches, desserts, nourishments, and snacks
• Support hot food preparation and cafeteria service as needed
• Complete cleaning tasks including trash removal, sweeping, mopping, and ware washing
• Stock nourishment rooms and kitchen supplies using proper FIFO rotation
• Record food and equipment temperatures, as well as sanitizer strength, to maintain compliance
• Operate, clean, and maintain food service equipment safely
• Communicate patient care and food service concerns to leadership in a timely and professional manner
• Follow all sanitation, infection control, safety, and HIPAA-related guidelines
