Job Requirements

• Active RN license and eligibility to work in the state of Maine
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Experience in acute inpatient medical-surgical or cardiac care preferred
• BLS required
• ACLS preferred
• Ability to work holidays as needed
• Strong assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking skills
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with medical-surgical and cardiac patients

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the care team
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in EPIC
• Support safe, compassionate care for patients with acute inpatient medical and cardiac needs
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary staff to promote positive patient outcomes
• Maintain professionalism while working holidays, weekends, and scheduled call requirements
