Job Requirements

• Active Vermont and/or New York Nursing Home Administrator license
• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited institution; master’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of management experience with increasing responsibilities
• Management experience in a skilled nursing facility, skilled nursing center, residential care setting, or assisted living setting
• Strong knowledge of long-term care operations, payer requirements, labor relations, productivity, and case management
• Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, and communication skills
• Ability to influence others, adapt quickly, and thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day skilled nursing center operations while supporting a high-quality, resident-centered care environment
• Help ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and organizational policies and regulations
• Promote continuous improvement in post-acute care and long-term care services
• Build strong relationships with residents, families, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members
• Support clinical, operational, and business objectives with a focus on quality, accountability, and patient satisfaction
• Contribute to strategic priorities focused on access, affordability, and high-quality care for the community
• Support the continuous improvement and evolution of post-acute and long-term care services in response to new or unmet community needs
• Foster a culture of professionalism, teamwork, and compassionate care
