Job Details

• Position: Registered Nurse – LTAC
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,930 - $2,030
• Shift: 12-hour night shift
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 36 hours per week
• Weekend Coverage: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday required
• Location: Kansas City, Kansas 66112
• Start Date: ASAP

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of bedside clinical nursing experience required
• BLS certification required prior to first shift
• ACLS certification required prior to first shift
• Strong documentation, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a care team

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within required timeframes
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process
• Communicate patient status changes to physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary care team members
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly
• Support discharge planning and patient and family education from admission through discharge
• Supervise and direct ancillary nursing staff as appropriate
• Promote a safe, organized, and patient-centered care environment
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support rehabilitation goals and quality outcomes
• Contribute to a positive unit culture through teamwork, professionalism, and reliability
