• Hours per Week: 40
• Duration: 12-week assignment

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,372–$1,525
• Holiday Commitment: Must work two major holidays and one minor holiday according to the facility holiday schedule.

LCSW Job Requirements

• Active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Georgia
• At least 2 years of clinical social work experience in the specialty, including acute hospital experience
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) certification
• Strong clinical assessment, care coordination, case management, and patient advocacy skills
• Ability to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals
• Successful completion of required credentialing and license verification

Hospital Social Worker Responsibilities

• Provide professional medical social work and behavioral health services to patients and families in a hospital-based setting
• Assess psychosocial needs, identify barriers to care, and develop appropriate intervention plans
• Provide counseling, crisis intervention, emotional support, and community resource coordination
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, behavioral health professionals, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team
• Support discharge planning, transitions of care, and referrals to appropriate community resources
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
• Advocate for patient-centered care while supporting safety, dignity, and continuity throughout the healthcare experience
