Travel Healthcare Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,380–$2,550
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks

Pediatric Echo Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 4 years of total echocardiography experience, including at least 1 year of pediatric echocardiography experience in a high-acuity, fast-paced setting
• Experience performing high-quality pediatric echocardiograms for patients from birth through age 18
• Current BLS certification
• Current ARDMS RCDS or CCI RCS credential
• ARDMS RCDS PE credential preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to recognize when additional support is needed
• Flexibility to support hospital, adult echo, and outpatient clinic workflows
• Epic experience preferred
• Experience with Philips equipment preferred; experience with Cannon ultrasound equipment is a plus

Pediatric Echocardiography Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive, high-quality echocardiographic studies on pediatric and adult patients
• Provide pediatric echo services for patients in the NICU and throughout the hospital
• Perform studies involving common pediatric and adult cardiac conditions, including coronary artery disease, hypertension, post-TAVR evaluations, and transesophageal echocardiography support
• Adapt cardiac imaging techniques to patients across a broad age range, including neonates, infants, children, and adolescents
• Support the adult echo team during periods of reduced pediatric volume
• Float to the outpatient clinic as needed while maintaining efficient, patient-centered service
• Operate Philips and Cannon ultrasound systems according to department standards
• Collaborate with providers and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure accurate imaging and timely results
• Maintain a professional, flexible, self-motivated, and team-oriented approach in a fast-paced healthcare environment
