Pediatric Surgical Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 5 years of operating room Surgical Technologist experience
• Prior experience in a pediatric Operating Room required
• Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification
• Active Washington state license or required state authorization
• Demonstrated expertise scrubbing at least two pediatric surgical service lines, such as ENT and orthopedics
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and pediatric OR protocols
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Pediatric Operating Room Responsibilities

• Scrub for pediatric surgical procedures across multiple service lines
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field, instrumentation, supplies, and equipment
• Anticipate the needs of surgeons and the perioperative team throughout each procedure
• Perform instrument, sponge, and needle counts according to established safety standards
• Support safe patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Collaborate effectively with nurses, surgeons, anesthesia professionals, and other members of the surgical team
• Maintain compliance with infection prevention, safety, and pediatric care standards
