Travel Nursing Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,360–$2,480
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks, from October 19, 2026 through January 16, 2027
• Schedule: 36 hours per week; 12-hour shifts
• Primary Shift: Days, 6:45 a.m.–7:15 p.m.
• Additional Shift Options: Night shifts may be available, including 6:45 p.m.–5:15 a.m. or 10:45 p.m.–7:15 a.m.
• Weekend Rotation: Not required
• Call and Holiday Coverage: Optional
• Healthcare Setting: Pediatric operating room with eight ORs
• Charting System: Epic experience preferred
• Scrub Color: Provided

Pediatric Operating Room RN Job Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of Registered Nurse experience, including operating room and perioperative nursing experience
• Recent experience as a Pediatric Operating Room RN
• Experience circulating a variety of pediatric surgical cases, including ENT, general surgery, orthopedic, and urology procedures
• Current Washington state or compact Registered Nurse license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Strong clinical judgment, organization, communication, and teamwork skills
• Comfort caring for pediatric patients and supporting families in a fast-paced surgical environment

Pediatric OR Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate perioperative nursing care to pediatric patients
• Serve as the circulating nurse for pediatric surgical procedures across multiple specialties, including ENT, general surgery, orthopedics, and urology
• Complete preoperative assessments, intraoperative monitoring, and postoperative patient handoffs
• Prepare the operating room, verify equipment and supplies, and help maintain a safe and efficient surgical environment
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia professionals, surgical technologists, and other members of the pediatric care team
• Accurately document patient care in the electronic health record and maintain compliance with patient safety and infection prevention standards
• Advocate for the unique needs of pediatric patients and their families throughout the surgical experience
