Travel CNA Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $910–$980
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Assignment Dates: October 12, 2026–January 11, 2027
• Hours: 36 hours per week, with rotating 36- or 48-hour workweeks
• Shift: Rotating 12-hour shifts; day shift is 6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. and night shift is 6:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.
• Schedule: Flexible availability for day or night shifts, weekends, holidays, and rotating schedules is required
• Healthcare Setting: Long-term care and intermediate care

Certified Nursing Assistant Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or nurse assistant experience, preferably in long-term care, skilled nursing, or a similar healthcare setting
• Current New Mexico CNA license or eligible compact credential in hand at the time of submission
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• PointClickCare electronic health record experience is required
• Strong understanding of resident safety, infection prevention, personal care, and safe patient handling
• Ability to work rotating day or night shifts, weekends, holidays, and changing schedules
• Willingness to float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate location when needed
• Two professional references are required
• Applicants residing within 100 miles of the assignment location are not eligible for this travel CNA opportunity

Long-Term Care CNA Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care and clinical support to residents in a long-term care and intermediate care environment
• Assist residents with bathing, grooming, oral care, skin care, shaving, foot care, toileting, and incontinence care
• Support feeding, hydration, diet intake tracking, bed baths, showers, and other activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Assist residents with ambulation, transfers, repositioning, bed mobility, and use of bedside equipment
• Measure and document vital signs, oxygen saturation, glucose readings, intake, output, and other assigned observations
• Maintain a safe resident environment by using bed alarms, call lights, appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), isolation precautions, and pressure injury prevention techniques
• Change linens, stock supplies, and maintain clean and organized resident care areas
• Accurately document resident care and observations in PointClickCare
• Promptly report changes in resident condition or abnormal findings to the nurse or appropriate member of the healthcare team
