Travel Nursing Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,860–$1,960

• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Emergency Department RN Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in North Carolina
• At least 1 year of recent Emergency Department or Emergency Room nursing experience
• Strong patient assessment, prioritization, and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to remain composed and effective in a fast-paced emergency care environment
• Commitment to patient safety, teamwork, and compassionate nursing care

Emergency Department RN Responsibilities

• Assess, triage, and provide nursing care to patients presenting with a variety of urgent and emergent conditions
• Monitor patient status and promptly identify changes requiring intervention
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with provider orders and nursing standards
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Perform focused nursing assessments, document care accurately, and communicate clinical findings effectively
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care
• Support a safe, organized, and patient-centered emergency department environment
