Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,300-$2,730
- Location: On-site in San Francisco, CA
- Schedule: 5 shifts per week
- Shift Duration: 8-hour day shifts
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Assignment: 13-week healthcare contract
- Anticipated Start Date: October 5, 2026

Social Worker Manager Job Requirements
- At least 5 years of progressive healthcare or nursing experience, including substantial patient care experience
- At least 4 years of supervisory, management, or clinical leadership experience
- Current California RN license required for this healthcare management role
- CPR certification required
- BSN or bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field strongly preferred
- Master's degree preferred
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program preferred
- Working knowledge of the Nurse Practice Act, accreditation standards, and applicable federal, state, and local healthcare regulations
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead healthcare teams, manage resources, and support continuous quality improvement
Healthcare Leadership Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of 24-hour departments providing patient care services, which may include multiple locations
- Lead staff in delivering safe, accessible, cost-effective, and patient-focused services
- Establish, implement, and maintain clinical standards of care, service expectations, policies, and procedures
- Monitor compliance with professional practice standards, accreditation requirements, and applicable laws and regulations
- Design and evaluate processes that improve care delivery, service outcomes, and operational efficiency
- Develop and monitor departmental budgets while promoting the effective use of staffing and material resources
- Determine appropriate staffing needs and support recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, training, and competency development
- Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, performance guidance, and professional development for department staff
- Oversee quality improvement, risk management, patient safety, and service initiatives
- Identify opportunities to improve quality while managing costs and departmental performance
- Address employee relations, operational concerns, and department safety issues in a timely and professional manner
- Protect privacy and confidentiality while promoting ethical conduct and adherence to organizational policies
