• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,470–$2,600
• Assignment Length: 4 weeks
• Start Date: February 1, 2027
• Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts, including days and nights
• Schedule: Approximately 48 hours per week, based on unit and staffing needs
• Healthcare Setting: Nursing float pool supporting multiple inpatient units

Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Massachusetts
• At least 2 years of Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN experience
• Strong telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
• Recent EPIC electronic health record experience required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
• Ability to float and provide safe, effective nursing care across multiple inpatient units
• Adaptability, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative approach to patient care

Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, recognize changes in patient condition, and escalate concerns promptly
• Complete nursing assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with clinical standards
• Float between assigned inpatient units while maintaining continuity, safety, and quality of care
• Document patient care accurately in EPIC
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing colleagues, and interdisciplinary teams to support positive patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge needs
