Travel RN Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,470–$2,600
• Specialty: Medical-Surgical Telemetry Nursing

• Location: On-site in Cambridge, Massachusetts

• Contract Duration: 8 weeks, ending February 27, 2027
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts, including days and nights

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Massachusetts
• At least 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
• Strong cardiac telemetry assessment and monitoring skills
• Experience working across multiple inpatient units or in a nursing float pool preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• EPIC electronic medical record experience required
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour day and night shifts

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, recognize changes in patient condition, and initiate appropriate interventions
• Administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with established standards of care
• Perform focused and comprehensive nursing assessments, develop care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team
• Accurately document patient care and clinical updates in EPIC
• Adapt quickly to the needs of different inpatient units while maintaining consistent, high-quality patient care
• Support safe transitions of care through patient and family education
