Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN Job Requirements

• Registered Nurse with current licensure and authorization to practice in Massachusetts
• At least 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN experience
• Strong telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Recent EPIC documentation experience required
• Ability to adapt to assignments across multiple hospital units
• Excellent communication, organization, and clinical decision-making skills

Travel Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult Medical-Surgical and Telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, recognize changes in patient condition, and escalate concerns appropriately
• Perform patient assessments, administer medications, and implement individualized plans of care
• Support patient care needs across multiple units within the hospital nursing float pool
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately in EPIC
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Provide patient and family education while promoting safety, comfort, and continuity of care
• Participate in effective handoffs and maintain compliance with clinical and patient safety standards
