CT Technologist Job Details

• Schedule: Friday–Sunday, 9:00 a.m.–9:30 p.m.
• Shift Duration: 12-hour days
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Assignment: 13 weeks, beginning October 19, 2026

CT Tech Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical CT experience
• Experience in a hospital or trauma setting
• Previous travel assignment experience required
• ARRT(R) certification and ARRT CT certification
• Current Nevada license for medical radiography
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Proficiency with CT scanners, contrast injection equipment, image storage systems, and hospital computer systems
• Ability to provide safe, age-appropriate care to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Flexibility to float within competency and work major holidays or an additional shift as needed

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations according to established imaging protocols and departmental standards
• Assist radiologists with diagnostic CT procedures and administer IV contrast under appropriate direction
• Provide attentive patient care through assessment, preparation, monitoring, and post-exam evaluation
• Support imaging needs for emergency, inpatient, outpatient, trauma, stroke, and code aorta cases
• Prioritize and coordinate daily exam workflow to support efficient patient throughput
• Operate advanced CT imaging equipment, contrast injectors, and image management systems
• Perform quality control monitoring and maintain accurate documentation
• Collaborate with the imaging team and other clinical departments to promote safe, timely care
• Maintain current BLS certification, required competencies, and mandatory training
