Travel CT Technologist Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,170–$2,330
• Location: Oregon City, Oregon
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital CT and radiology department
• Start Date: October 19, 2026
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks, through January 18, 2027
• Schedule: 5 shifts per week, 8-hour evening shifts
• Shift Hours: 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m.
• Weekly Hours: 40 hours
• Scheduling: Block scheduling with two consecutive days off each week
• Weekend Requirement: Saturday and Sunday evening coverage as scheduled
• Call Requirement: Approximately 2–4 nights of call per month
• Patient Population: Infants, children, adolescents, adults, and older adults
• Charting: Electronic documentation experience required

CT Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of CT technologist experience required; first-time travel technologists are welcome to apply
• Current ARRT(R) certification or equivalent radiologic technology credential
• Current BLS certification
• Appropriate state licensure, with a compact license in hand at submission when applicable
• Proficiency with CT procedures involving the head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, and musculoskeletal trauma
• Experience preparing for and administering contrast media
• Peripheral IV-starting experience
• Experience with at least one major imaging platform or system, such as GE, Philips, Siemens, Toshiba, or PACS
• Ability to provide safe patient care using isolation precautions and appropriate personal protective equipment
• Comfort caring for patients across a broad age range in an acute care hospital environment

Travel CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergent computed tomography examinations according to established protocols and safety standards
• Support radiology examinations during assigned evening and overnight coverage as needed
• Prepare patients for CT procedures, verify orders, and screen for contraindications
• Administer contrast media safely and monitor patients for reactions
• Start peripheral IVs and provide patient education before and after imaging procedures
• Operate CT equipment and use imaging systems to produce high-quality diagnostic studies
• Complete accurate electronic documentation and maintain imaging records
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, providers, and interdisciplinary support teams
• Respond appropriately to urgent imaging needs and support emergent interventional cases when requested
• Maintain a clean, safe, and patient-focused hospital imaging environment
