Travel Nursing Job Details

• Job Title: Med-Surg Tele Registered Nurse (RN)

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250–$2,370
• Location: Cleveland, Ohio
• Healthcare Setting: On-site acute-care hospital
• Start Date: December 1, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Four shifts per week
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.
• Hours: Approximately 36 hours per week

Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with a permanent Ohio license or compact license in hand at the time of submission
• At least 1 year of combined permanent experience in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications in hand; pending certifications are not accepted
• Recent professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty, completed within the past 12 months
• Ability to complete required ECG rhythm recognition and medication-safety assessments during orientation
• COVID-19 and influenza vaccination required, with medical or religious exemptions reviewed according to applicable requirements
• Successful completion of required background screening, fingerprinting, and credential verification
• Willingness to complete required pre-start and annual learning modules

Travel RN Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Assess patient conditions, recognize changes in status, and escalate concerns appropriately
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to telemetry findings in accordance with clinical protocols
• Administer medications and treatments safely while evaluating patient responses
• Develop, implement, and update individualized plans of care
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapy teams, and other interdisciplinary partners
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge planning
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and support a safe, high-quality acute-care environment
