Endoscopy Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of professional nursing experience, including endoscopy nursing experience
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Experience with endoscopy procedures such as EGD, ERCP, colonoscopy, or bronchoscopy
• Meditech Expanse experience preferred
• Flexible, positive, and team-oriented approach to patient care

Endoscopy RN Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to patients before, during, and after endoscopy procedures
• Assist with EGD, ERCP, colonoscopy, bronchoscopy, and related procedural services
• Monitor patients throughout procedures and recognize changes in clinical condition
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with provider orders and unit protocols
• Support procedural preparation, recovery, documentation, and patient education
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, technicians, and other members of the care team
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient procedural environment
• Participate in scheduled weekend and call coverage
