Physical Therapist Job Requirements

• Current California Physical Therapist license
• At least 1 year of Physical Therapist experience
• Experience or strong interest in pelvic health or pelvic floor rehabilitation
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Completion of applicable physical therapy education and credentialing requirements
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team

Pelvic Health Physical Therapist Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized physical therapy plans of care
• Provide outpatient pelvic health rehabilitation using evidence-based treatment approaches
• Deliver therapeutic exercise, functional training, patient education, and other appropriate physical therapy interventions
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to support safe, measurable outcomes
• Document evaluations, treatments, progress, and discharge planning accurately and in a timely manner
• Coordinate care with physicians and other members of the outpatient rehabilitation team
• Promote patient independence and participation in daily activities
