Oncology Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in California
• At least 1 year of professional nursing experience; oncology or acute care experience preferred
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Strong patient assessment, clinical judgment, and care coordination skills
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in an on-site hospital setting
• Commitment to compassionate, safe, and patient-centered oncology care

Travel Oncology RN Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult oncology patients during 12-hour night shifts
• Assess patient conditions, monitor for changes, and promptly escalate clinical concerns
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and provider orders
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families throughout the cancer treatment process
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, treatment responses, and changes in patient condition
