OB Scrub Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as an OB Scrub Technologist, Surgical Technologist, or comparable perioperative professional
• Experience supporting GYN, abdominal, and obstetric surgical procedures
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and operating room procedures
• Current surgical technology credentials and any required California credentials for practice, as applicable
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and every other weekend
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills

Travel Surgical Technologist Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms, surgical trays, instruments, and supplies for GYN, abdominal, and OB procedures
• Provide sterile scrub support during surgical cases while anticipating the needs of the surgeon and clinical team
• Maintain sterile technique and follow established infection prevention and operating room safety protocols
• Assist with instrument counts, specimen handling, room turnover, and post-procedure cleanup
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, anesthesia professionals, and other members of the perioperative team
• Help ensure surgical supplies and equipment are available, organized, and ready for each procedure
